Legrand wanted a campaign that would elevate the conversation beyond ports and plugs, and instead frame USB-C as part of a wider evolution in the way people live, work and connect.

The result was “The Future of Charging is USB-C”.

Using AI-generated imagery, we created a futuristic campaign world featuring highly advanced androids seamlessly connecting into USB-C charging systems. Rather than relying on traditional product photography or technical demonstrations, the visuals leaned into imagination and possibility, helping audiences emotionally connect with a technology transition that might otherwise feel purely functional.

The imagery positioned USB-C not simply as a new socket standard, but as a symbol of a more integrated and intelligent future.

The campaign rolled out across social media platforms, where the unusual creative direction helped stop scrolling and spark curiosity. The blend of futuristic robotics, sleek charging environments and premium electrical design aligned naturally with Legrand’s long-standing reputation for innovation and technological leadership.

Importantly, the creative approach also reflected the broader positioning of the global Legrand brand itself.

With operations in more than 90 countries and a portfolio of brands including Legrand, HPM, BTicino, Cablofil, Netatmo and CP Electronics, the company has built its reputation on transforming everyday electrical products into experiences that feel more intuitive, connected and design-led.

This campaign extended that philosophy visually.

Instead of marketing USB-C as a specification upgrade, Legrand presented it as part of the future arriving in plain sight, helping reinforce the company’s role as a leader in the next generation of electrical technology.
